Students will learn the vital differences between stage and screen acting, all about TV and film production procedures, expectations at studios and locations, scene preparation, blocking, gestures and framework, as well as how to break down characters, scenes and scripts. Students will also practice vital scene continuity for matching, pick up and out of sequence scenes, and the handling of potential challenges on set. Various types of film and television scenes will be practiced and may be taped for review and technique.
